I though I didn't really had a good photo series because we were asked to go outside. I stayed inside because I can't really go outside due to my health.

While I was looking around in my room I really was trying to force myself to not take pictures I've taken before. I love to take tons of pictures of my envoirement, I always have liked it. But my facination with my surroundings changed while my surrounding changed.

I often hated my little room with 4 squares but I learned to love them. I think that is seen in my pictures.


In my feedback I was told that I was showing a 'Journey in my room'. This sounded so interesting to me because I didn't see it like that. I saw it as my prison.

What do I see?

I notice that I literally photograph what I saw in front of me. I feel like I was searching for beauty while feeling stuck in one place.

Some shots were planned out with the conpositions. You can see which ones but others were random shots from what was in front of me.

This makes me realize that I need to appreciate my room and my surrounding more.

Thoughts

Why is my room my prison?
My beautiful room,
with all the things I love.
I have everything I need in here
and nothing at all.

I long for the outside world while there is more to offer in this room.
